For as long as I can remember, Barbara was always a part of my family's life. So many fond memories from being a child having many happy family holidays, sleep overs and then going onto my adulthood I'd tag along with my parents lunch get togethers with Barbara and bring my own baby along. She always remembered what my siblings and I, as well as our children had been up to when having telephone catch ups with my parents. She always sent birthday cards & messages (very promptly) too! I always admired her drive & determination to make the best of life, especially with all the travelling she did. I thought of her as a very kind and inspiring woman who was a great friend to both my mum and dad. She will be greatly missed but always remembered. x
